-Team Azimut: The Maxxis team from Venezuela led by Nunzio Coffaro took first place in the T1.2 Modified Cars category. It is 39 in the Overall ranking, on the top 5 Latino teams and 50 on the world.

Congratulations to all the team for the victory and the great role played in the Dakar. In particular to show the world a good image of Latinos teams. All the Maxxis Rally staff are very proud of you and all the teams that represented us on the race..

-Duro4x4: The Peruvians Diego Weber and Alonso Carrillo of Team Maxxis were advancing rapidly in the race but were unable to finish the Dakar beacuse of the vehicle's engine damage.

Duro 4x4 team kept thousands of fans exited every day in this Dakar edition and were applauded as they deserve in the center of Lima, we are confident that the experience will give plenty to talk about next year. Our best wishes and keep going!
